Youth Group
Both a Junior High (6th grade – 8th grade) and Senior High (9th grade-12th grade) youth groups are active at Second Church. They are led by Jamie Fowler. Jamie leads the groups by offer equal time in Bible study, service, and social activities. The groups have gone on mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Lancaster, PA, Georgia, Peru and other areas with a need. Jamie keeps them busy with service projects that could include yard work, simple home repairs, and visiting local 
personal care homes. She also provides meetings that can include Bible Study time or just a time for the kids to talk about issues that arise in their lives. Her leadership allows them to build their relationships with Christ so his presence is felt daily. There is time for fun, too! A summer trip to CreationFest in Mt. Union, PA has become one of the events all the youth look forward to. Ski trips, bowling, hiking the bike trail or just hanging out at her house are days the kids really enjoy! These events are also a way of devolping not only their faith but building relationships they will carry throughout their lives.
